Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server solutions feature three Linux releases which you could pick from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. In addition to being 100 % free, the OSs are really stable and risk-free and the key reason to offer you all three of them is to make sure that you'll be able to run every application that you would like, because different pieces of software could have different requirements when it comes to the environment they can be used on. Each one of the three OSs is backed by a large community of web developers who have developed many hundreds of software packages which you can set up and use on your VPS. Based on the Operating System which you select, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to take care of your website hosting content. Also, should you decide that you need some other OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also offer you weekly updates of the OS for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're cost-free so they will not increase the price of your new web hosting server, but also because they are really secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a huge community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you may install on your server in case the application that you want to employ has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and because we want to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain Operating System, we will change it upon request if it turns out that you need another one. We could also keep the OS updated weekly as part of the useful Managed Services upgrade.
