Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
If you get a VPS servers from our company, you will have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server has no website hosting Control Panel at all, or in case you select cPanel or DirectAdmin during the order process. In the first case, you'll be able to update any part of the system from a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you can still use SSH in order to connect and to make changes, however you will also have a graphical interface accessible to control your web content and almost all of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans a very good choice if you wish to run any software that you can not install in a regular shared web hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect by using SSH and to control the content on your hosting server, but the root access rights will be more restricted.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
Each dedicated server that we provide gives you full root-level access, if the server is ordered without a Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you would like to install and run heavy, resource-demanding apps and they have special requirements regarding the server software environment that can't be fulfilled by an ordinary shared hosting plan, our servers will be the perfect solution. With no Control Panel at hand, you can access the server and modify its settings as well as the content which you upload with a console, whereas with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you'll use a graphical interface to take care of everything related to your web content, and most server-side settings. Needless to say, when you get a dedicated server devoid of Control Panel, you can set up some third-party tool manually, as long as it supports the Operating System that you've selected at signup. If you select the Hepsia Control Panel from the order page, you'll have restricted root access, however you will still be able to do lots of things through a Secure Shell console.
